Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association (optional in text but commonly required).
• 6+ months in a clinical area or 1 year KSC experience with approval.
• Computer experience.
• Proven ability to use medical equipment including CPR, oxygen administration, and IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in assigned clinical area under supervision.
• Demonstrate leadership on the unit and ensure safety and comfort of patients and families.
• Apply clinical nursing knowledge and critical thinking to identify priorities and ensure timely care.
• Participate in activities that support performance recognition and development.
