Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care in an assigned clinical area under supervision. The RN applies clinical knowledge to ensure safety and comfort for patients and families.

Requirements include a Texas RN license, current BLS, and 6+ months of clinical experience; EPIC experience is preferred. The role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 6+ months in a clinical area; 1+ year KSC experience may be considered with approval from Sr Dir Nursing Services.
• Able to use CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy equipment.
• Computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the assigned clinical area under supervision.
• Provide unit leadership in collaboration with the Nurse Supervisor or RN Coordinator.
• Apply clinical nursing knowledge and critical thinking to ensure patient safety and comfort.
