Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a remote-based Epic Analyst to configure, roll out, and support Epic applications across ambulatory environments. You will perform business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation while guiding end-users and improving workflows.

The role requires 3 years of Epic systems administration experience and an Epic Application Certification within 6 months, with a preference for the Ambulatory module. Bachelor’s in CS/IS/Healthcare is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
• Associate degree required; substitution of 2 years relevant experience allowed.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Configures, rolls out, and supports Epic software environments.
• Conducts business/system analysis, requirements definition and documentation.
• Communicates with end-users to understand issues and implement solutions.
• Manages small to medium projects and tracks progress with stakeholders.
• Performs root-cause analysis to resolve routine to moderately complex problems.
