Valley Health System in Ridgewood, New Jersey, seeks a part-time or full-time Ambulatory Clinic Preceptor to join the Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency continuity practice at our Family Care Center.

The Ambulatory Clinic Preceptor provides clinical management of obstetrics and gynecologic patients and oversees resident education, guiding learners from supervised practice to confident, independent clinicians within our academic health system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Board eligible or certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical management of obstetrics and gynecologic patients at the Family Care Center.
• Oversee resident education at the Clinic and guide learners toward independent practice.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and scholarly engagement within the program.

The Ambulatory Clinic Preceptor provides clinical management of obstetrics and gynecologic patients seen at the Family Care Center and oversees resident education at the Clinic. This role is central to advancing residents along the trajectory from supervised practice to confident, independent clinicians. Preceptors at Valley model excellence in clinical care, professionalism, reflective practice, and scholarly engagement, contributing meaningfully to curriculum innovation, quality improvement, and the academic culture of the program.

Compensation & Benefits for a full-time employee

• Competitive compensation models include a minimum starting salary ranging between $336K to $349K with generous productivity incentive with the opportunity to grow uncapped
