Job summary

Valley Health System in Ridgewood, New Jersey, is seeking a part-time or full-time Ambulatory Clinic Preceptor to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency continuity practice at the Family Care Center. This role centers on teaching and guiding residents as they move from supervised practice to independent clinicians.

The ideal candidate will provide clinical management of obstetrics and gynecologic patients, oversee resident education, and contribute to curriculum innovation and quality

Qualifications

• MD or DO board eligibility or board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Current New Jersey medical license, DEA and CDS required.
• Commitment to teaching and resident education.
• Experience in ambulatory OB/GYN settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical management of obstetrics and gynecologic patients in the Family Care Center.

The Ambulatory Clinic Preceptor provides clinical management of obstetrics and gynecologic patients seen at the Family Care Center and oversees resident education at the Clinic. This role is central to advancing residents along the trajectory from supervised practice to confident, independent clinicians. Preceptors at Valley model excellence in clinical care, professionalism, reflective practice, and scholarly engagement, contributing meaningfully to curriculum innovation, quality improvement, and the academic culture of the program.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation models include a minimum starting salary ranging between $336K to $349K with generous productivity incentive with the opportunity to grow uncapped.
