Responsibilities

• Receives and directs phone calls from patients and physician offices.
• Schedules patients for treatment by multiple providers and arranges tests/procedures.
• Prioritizes appointments to optimize patient care and resource use.
• Handles urgent patient care calls and alerts providers if needed.
• Schedules urgent care appointments as directed.
• Greets patients for scheduled and urgent appointments.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collects co-payments when applicable.
• Obtains signatures of consent for treatment/insurance details.
• Collaborates with insurers to obtain prior authorizations.
• Verifies eligibility for procedures/tests.
• Reviews/bills discrepancies and resolves errors.
• Maintains records and related information.
• Performs clerical duties (faxing, data entry, etc.).
• Prepares reports/spreadsheets for physicians.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and health/safety regulations.
• Maintains professional, respectful environment.
• Performs other duties as required.
