CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital is seeking an administrative specialist to support patient appointments, procedures, tests and related services in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will assess patient needs, coordinate with financial counseling, interpreter services and social services, and refer to appropriate care teams.

You will alert providers to emergent patient care needs and support a busy hospital environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in software and computer systems.
• Ability to multi task and work under stressful situations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience with medical office terminology preferred.

• Perform a variety of complex administrative duties for patients in ambulatory in/outpatient settings.
• Assess patients' needs including financial counseling, interpreter services and social services and refer to appropriate staff.
• Alert providers to emergent patient care needs.
