Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an Agency Registered Nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care across adult ambulatory clinics. The RN will perform assessments, triage, medication administration, and care coordination, while supporting clinic workflow and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate demonstrates competency in adult assessment, phlebotomy, IV management, injections, vaccine administration, EKGs, vital signs, wound care, infection prevention, and EMR/Epic documentation.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Med/Surg or clinic experience is required.
• IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Competence in adult patient assessment and clinical triage.
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Peripheral IV insertion and management.
• IM and subcutaneous injections.
• Medication preparation and administration.
• Vaccine administration.
• EKG/12-lead ECG performance.
• Vital signs and focused clinical assessments.
• Wound care and infection prevention practices.
• Strong patient education and health teaching skills.
• Care coordination, referral follow-up, and telephone/portal follow-up.
• Proficiency in EMR/Epic documentation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
