Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a registered nurse to provide care in an assigned clinical area and participate in leadership on the unit. The role emphasizes safety and comfort for patients and families within a compliant, standards-based environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 6+ months in a clinical area. 1+ years of KSC experience may be considered in lieu of 6+ months RN experience with approval from Sr Dir Nursing Services.
• Ability to use equipment and related supplies for the assigned clinical area, including CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
• Computer experience.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area and leadership on the unit, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or RN Coordinator
• Applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards
• Utilizes critical thinking to identify priorities and make judgments concerning basic and comprehensive needs of multiple patients in order to facilitate appropriate and timely care
