Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, seeks a Nurse Supervisor to plan and oversee department staff, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to budgets, policies, and standards. The role requires broad clinical leadership in ambulatory care and collaboration across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities include guiding clinic operations, staff education, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while promoting a culture of excellence

Qualifications

• RN from accredited nursing program with active Texas license.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or 4+ years of supervisory/management experience is required.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS credentials as applicable within stated timeframes; strong clinical management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinic leadership and direction across departments.
• Mentors clinical staff and conducts staff education and problem-solving meetings.
• Ensures compassionate, safe, and efficient patient care; monitors patient satisfaction and quality improvements.
• Manages resources and budget planning; ensures regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinic operations and patient outcomes.
