Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration (RN).
• BLS certification with American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification as required by departmental standards.
• Acute care medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care by coordinating and delivering quality care for assigned patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient and family assessments and document health data.
• Develop and implement culturally competent care plans with expected outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and ambulatory staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses, treatments, and preventive measures.
