Zusammenfassung

UC Irvine is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to support prescription filling and dispensing at the UC Irvine Student Health Center. You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist, handling data entry, formulary awareness, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate has CA Pharmacy Technician license, completion of an accredited program, at least 5 years of experience in an ambulatory care setting, aseptic technique, HIPAA knowledge, and strong communication

Qualifikationen

Completing a recognized and accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.
CA Pharmacy Technician license required by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
Strong knowledge of CA and Federal laws governing dispensing of prescription drugs.
Experience with aseptic techniques and patient-centered service.
Proficient in pharmacy terminology, calculations, and formulary understanding.
Experience with inventory procedures and reporting within a health system.

Aufgaben

Assist in all technical aspects of prescription filling and dispensing.
Process, fill, and dispense prescriptions with accuracy.
Enter data of medications and prescriptions into the EMR system.
Understand UC Irvine SHIP formulary and insurance benefits.
Manage inventory and supplies to ensure availability.
