Job summary

The University of Virginia is seeking a Senior Certified Medical Assistant to support RN staff and clinic operations. You will perform clinical functions such as vital signs, medication review, and patient data collection, while assisting with administrative tasks, Epic In Baskets, and prior authorizations.

Requires a High School Diploma, 3 years of clinical experience, and CMA certification from AAMA, AMT, NAHP, ARMA, or NHA, plus BLS. Virginia EMT/Paramedic credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience.
• Current CMA certification from AAMA, AMT, NAHP, ARMA, or NHA; BLS certification required.
