Job summary

UC Davis Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider supervisor to lead and develop the APP team, oversee scheduling and credentialing, and provide expert clinical care for a diverse patient population. You will mentor APPs, orient new staff, and collaborate with the PCS Chief of Advanced Practice to establish standardized procedures.

The role requires 2+ years as an APP and active CA NP/PA licensing, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• 6+ months precepting/orienting APP education.
• Valid CA RN license and APN/PA license.
• DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
• National NP/PA board certification in aligned specialty.
• AHA/BLS or UC Davis Health CPR.
• Master's degree or higher in nursing/PA education.
• Ability to meet hospital credentialing and billing standards.

Responsibilities

• 60% - Clinical Practice.
• 40% - Non-Clinical leadership and administrative duties.
