UC Davis Health seeks an Advanced Practice Supervisor 2 to provide independent advanced practice expertise and to oversee other APPs. The role includes managing scheduling, onboarding, and organizational oversight of the APP unit to ensure competence and qualifications for direct reports.

The position involves collaboration with the APP manager and acting as a resource for clinicians. The department emphasizes clinical leadership, practice standardization, and support for education programs.

Qualifikationen

• Two (2) years of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Six (6) months of experience with precepting, orienting and Advanced Practice Provider education.
• Valid California Registered Nurse license and Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant license.
• Valid California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing license, if a Nurse Practitioner.
• DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
• NP/PA board certification in an aligned specialty.
• AHA/Red Cross BLS, or UC Davis Health CPR.
• Master’s degree, DNP, or PhD from an accredited program.
