Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking an EMT-Basic (EMT) for a PRN, variable-shift ambulances role in Canyon, TX. You will provide out-of-hospital emergency care, stabilization, and safe patient transport under medical oversight and state protocols.

Requirements include EMT-Basic certification, TX DSHS licensure, NIMS training within 80 days, and a valid Class C license. Prior field experience is preferred. This position supports our 24/7 EMS coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED required
• EMT-Basic certification with Texas DSHS
• Pass National Registry exam after EMT course
• BLS certification due within 14 days of hire
• Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with any A restriction
• Complete DHS/FEMA and NIMS courses IS-100/200/700/800.A within 80 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide out-of-hospital emergency medical care and stabilization.
• Ensure safe transport of patients.
• Operate under medical oversight and TX DSHS protocols
