Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Texas EMT-Paramedic licensure/certification.
• ACLS completion within 80 days of employment.
• PHTLS completion within 80 days of employment.
• PALS or PEPP completion within 80 days of employment.
• NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800.A completion within 80 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and transportation per protocols and policy.
• Safely operate EMS vehicles in compliance with laws and department guidelines.
• Accept additional duties as assigned by the EMS Director.

Education
