City Ambulance Service in Texas is seeking EMT-Basics to cover a Central Texas Region including Austin. The role features a 48/96 rotating schedule with on-road shifts and potential for extensive overtime.

Expanding operations offer multiple station locations; 15- or 24-hour shifts are available, with compensation ranging by experience and scheduling. Join a dedicated EMS team delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT-Basic license in TX or a compact state.
• 2 years EMS experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work 48/96 schedule and adapt to changing duties.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Assess a patient’s condition and determine treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced life support to patients.
• Explain procedures to patients and relay information to others.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
• Transfer patients to hospital or healthcare facilities.
• Document medical care promptly and accurately.
• Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
• Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulance and station locations daily.
