Job summary

Superior Nm is seeking a Dispatcher to receive and process calls from citizens and medical facilities. You will input data into the CAD system, coordinate ambulance dispatch, and maintain continuous communication with crews via radio and computer software.

You will locate locations using mapping tools to support rapid ambulance response and manage pre-scheduled transports across Albuquerque and outlying areas throughout New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Requires a second form of identification.
• Criminal background check is required.
• Pre-employment drug test is required.

Responsibilities

• The Dispatcher receives and processes calls from private citizens, hospitals, and extended care facilities.
• Collect and input all necessary information into the CAD system.
• Contact, dispatch, track, and maintain ongoing communication with ambulance crews via radio, telephone, and computer software.
• Quickly locate physical locations with mapping software to aid in ambulance response.
• Time planning, scheduling, and coordination of pre-scheduled ambulance transports in Albuquerque and surrounding service areas throughout the state of New Mexico.
