Job summary

Indiana University Health at West Hospital is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services teammate on a rotating shift. You will serve meals, transport supplies, take orders, and support patients, families, and physicians with courteous service.

You will also assist with sanitation, cleaning, and basic computer tasks using the CBORD system, with no experience required and a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Serves, transports, and takes orders for food and supplies while providing a high level of satisfaction for a varied customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, and physicians. Provides quick, accurate, and courteous service and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.

Candidate Requirements

• No experience required.
• Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.

Candidate preferred

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred.
