Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an employee to operate equipment safely and efficiently for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and dangerous goods. The role includes helping with pallet buildup and breakdown and acting as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor when needed.

The position is part-time with an early morning shift from Tuesday to Saturday, 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A valid driver's license and ability to work in all weather conditions are required; the job may involve

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs using equipment or assistance.
• Must communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor as required.
