Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking personnel for an early morning shift to safely operate equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and hazardous materials. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown, and coordinate with ULD repair vendors as needed.

Requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs, walk and stand for long hours, and operate in a noisy environment. A valid driver's license is required; drug screening is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for long periods.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and dangerous goods.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
