Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED certification required; uncertified Team Players will have training within 30 days.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods.
• Proven ability to lead, encourage, develop, and supervise the work of others.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage a team.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and culture, and Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM and AM in implementing member attraction and retention strategies.
• Train new Team Players and guide on operational processes.
• Use Team Performance Tracker to meet metrics.
• Supervise and inspire Team Players to perform at their best.
• Maintain high member service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
• Identify training needs and report findings to management.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure club is presentable and compliant.
• Address minor infractions and report major ones.
• Perform daily club inspections and assign tasks.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Audit inventory and coordinate with GM/AM on orders.
• Oversee operations when GM/AM are unavailable.
• Stay proficient in PFHQ and Excel platforms.
• Represent the company at community events.
