Major Food Group LLC is seeking AM Servers to join Dirty French at the Ludlow Hotel in Manhattan's Lower East Side. The role requires at least 1 year of experience, strong dining room knowledge, and excellent POS system skills. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure service meets or exceeds expectations.
• Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, cleanliness and safety.
• Receive and greet guests and assist with seating as needed.
• Check tables during service to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and food/beverage presentation standards.

AM Server

Part Time Band 5 Dirty French, New York, NY, US

Salary Range: $17.00 To $17.00 Hourly

Major Food Group is hiring AM Servers to join our team at Dirty French! Located in the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s storied Lower East Side, Dirty French is an energetic bistro created by the acclaimed hospitality brand Major Food Group and its co-founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi. The restaurant takes its culinary cues from the timeless dishes of the classic French tradition and enlivens them by utilizing modern techniques and bold, thrilling flavors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience.
• Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety.
• Receive and greet members guests; assist with seating if necessary.
• Check tables throughout service times for guestsatisfaction, resolve guest issues.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and presentation standards and sound knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques

REQUIREMENTS:

• We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience.
• Must have excellent knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Excellent knowledge of POS system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Open availability; must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
