Job summary

Major Food Group is seeking an experienced Food Runner to join the Upper West Side team. The role supports front-of-house service by delivering dishes accurately and promptly and by helping maintain dining areas during service.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in a high-volume upscale setting, strong teamwork and customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive pay and benefits reflect growth opportunities within MFG.

• Minimum 2 years working in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Band 5 Parm Upper West, New York, NY, US

Salary Range: $11.35 To $11.35 Hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivers food from kitchen and delivers to guests in an accurate and timely manner

Understands all menu offerings, food descriptions and ingredients and is able to verbalize to guests

Set tables appropriately to ensure guests have everything needed at each stage of service

Ensure expo and service station areas are organized and maintained

Maintains cleanliness of tables between courses and resets tables upon completion of meal

Assists front-of-house team with other duties as required or assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
