Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Line Cook to support the kitchen under the direction of the chef. You will prepare and plate items, maintain quality and consistency, and work to deliver exceptional guest experiences across shifts.

The role requires strong knife skills, knowledge of recipes, and a commitment to sanitation and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a line cook role.
• Knowledge of menu items, recipes, and portion sizes.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform knife skills and food preparation as per recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food items per health regulations.
• Maintain strong customer service attitude and guest satisfaction.
• Build positive relationships with teammates and supervisors; support teamwork.
• Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chefs with assigned tasks.
• Keep station and coolers clean; ensure sanitation between shifts.
• Follow standard recipes for pre-preparation and plating; assist with other items as needed.
• Know menu items and daily specials, with presentation and portion control.
• All other duties as assigned.

Under the direction of the chef, the line cook is responsible for food preparation and ensuring superior quality and consistency and presentation.
