Job summary

COQODAQ, a new fried chicken concept from Gracious Hospitality Management, seeks an energetic AM server in New York. You will greet guests, service beverages, explain menus and coordinate with the kitchen to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Dress code and hospitality standards are strictly observed as you manage reservations, events and VIP guests while maintaining spotless service areas. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, understand and follow written and verbal English.
• Must be reachable by email and able to communicate via phone.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, results-oriented, team-player mentality.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers, offers water and beverage service, and introduces menu format.
• Reads reservation chits and BEOs to accommodate special requests and events.
• Executes steps of service with management, servers assistants, sommeliers and chefs.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization; ensures safe handling of food and beverages.
• Reports to management any VIP service needs and customer feedback.
• Uses POS systems to account for all sales and entries.
