Job summary

Legacy Early College in Greenville is seeking an Alumni Coordinator to guide scholars pursuing dual enrollment and an associate degree alongside their high school diploma. You will collaborate with families, counselors, and teachers to ensure access to rigorous college coursework and provide scholarship guidance throughout the process.

The role is part of the College Success Team, requiring strong communication, organization, and commitment to first‑generation students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in college counseling, student advising, or classroom instruction.
• Strong knowledge of college admissions and financial aid processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with first‑generation college students.
• Proficiency in data tracking and student information systems.

Responsibilities

• College Counseling: help students access quality postsecondary programs and navigate applications and financial aid.
• Alumni Support: track Legacy Alumni progress and assist in scholarships and grants eligibility.
• School Support: push into Advisory classes and support college/career programming.
• Student & Family Programming: build relationships and run family engagement sessions on postsecondary planning.
• Data Management & Analysis: maintain meeting records and analyze postsecondary outcomes.
• Program Enhancement & Collaboration: work with College Success Team to align dual enrollment with school vision.
