Democracy Prep Public Schools seeks an Associate Director of Alumni Support to cultivate a vibrant community of over 3000 alumni and advance college persistence and graduation rates across the network.

You will design programs, manage microgrant and captain initiatives, and collaborate with the counseling team to keep graduates engaged in diverse paths beyond high school. A bachelor’s degree and strong writing, data analytics, and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of college admissions and financial aid processes.
• Clear writer who can provide meaningful feedback and craft professional recommendations.
• Strong relationships with higher education admissions officers, particularly in New York.
• Data-driven problem solver focused on student persistence and success.
• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and innovate systems.
• Bachelor's degree or higher (required).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a college persistence strategy for about 1800 alumni annually.
• Manage the Alumni Microgrant Program supporting students with unexpected financial burdens.
• Lead the Alumni Captain Program with peer-to-peer outreach.
• Curate and facilitate annual Alumni Reunion Events.
• Build a corps of class captains from each graduating class.
• Use alumni data to identify at-risk alumni and tailor support.
• Monitor and report postsecondary outcomes.
• Create engagement plans based on outreach notes and weekly check-ins with the VP.
