Job summary

KIPP Atlanta Schools seeks a Persistence Advisor to support alumni pursuing associate degrees, certificates, and transfer pathways. This year-round role focuses on college persistence, enrollment navigation, and student success across multiple campuses.

The ideal candidate will be organized, an excellent communicator, and capable of building strong relationships with students, families, and partner institutions, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Possesses a Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness and availability to travel multiple times a month.
• Experience with students and families from low-income communities.
• Knowledge of FERPA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of KIPP alumni pursuing degrees and certificates.
• Provide targeted advising focused on program completion and transfer options.
• Develop interventions to support persistence and success.
• Coordinate with colleges, technical institutions and stakeholders.
• Maintain regular outreach and plan events to support students.
• Track data on persisting students and document case notes.
