Job summary

The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. invites applications for Assistant Director of Alumni Programming at the University of Tennessee, Martin.

This role reports to the AVC for Alumni Relations and leads strategic planning, program development, fiscal development, and marketing for Alumni Relations events and programs. Responsibilities include developing nationwide alumni programs, coordinating regional volunteers, and planning reunions while collaborating with department heads on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in any field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in higher education, alumni engagement, events, or related fields.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record due to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to promote the University and expand alumni support nationwide.
• Coordinate email campaigns and initiatives for Alumni Relations events.
• Identify and cultivate regional Alumni Ambassadors and oversee the Young Alumni Council.
• Plan reunions and homecoming events and collaborate with departments on alumni programming.
