Job summary

Villanova University is seeking an Assistant Director, Regional Engagement to lead the Alumni Association Regional Clubs program. You will serve as the primary staff liaison, manage volunteers, plan events, and coordinate activities across regional clubs to deliver a consistent, high‑quality engagement experience for alumni.

This 12‑month, full‑time role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in alumni relations or related fields, with strong relationship, organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of experience in alumni relations, volunteer engagement or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship management and event coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication and volunteer management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Knowledge of general office equipment; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day‑to‑day manager and primary contact for the Regional Clubs program.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and support regional volunteer leaders.
• Manage annual volunteer registration, compliance, and leadership transition processes.
• Track club participation, engagement, and satisfaction metrics; prepare reports and recommendations.
• Oversee planning and execution of club events, programs, and signature initiatives.
• Collaborate with Special Events and Communications partners on club-related activities.
• Manage operational budgets for Regional Clubs and regional engagement activities.
• Staff support for related Alumni Relations initiatives and special projects.
