Job summary

Ashley Addiction Treatment in Maryland seeks an Alumni Coordinator to build strong lifelong recovery connections and support fundraising efforts. You will engage patients with resources and nurture the Alumni network to strengthen ties to Ashley.

The role involves coordinating the Grad-to-Grad program, leading alumni chapters, and organizing events and speaking engagements on campus and regionally. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or two years of alumni/public relations experience.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people from different ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver presentations and manage groups.
• Strong organizational skills with initiative, vision and creativity.
• Ability to work extended hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Alumni Department’s relationship with Patient Care Coordinators and provide recovery resources for exiting patients and maintain grad-to-grad contacts and Alumni event schedules.
• Coordinate the Ashley Grad-to-Grad program and recruit volunteers to assist in recovery of discharged patients.
• Coordinate Alumni Chapters and develop new opportunities for Alumni Chapter activity.
• Coordinate outside speakers for Ashley’s daily on-campus recovery meetings for patient community.
• Engage alumni, families and friends through calls, meetings, emails, web and social media with focus on high-net-worth prospects.
• Work with Development to identify and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth alumni prospects.
• Plan, coordinate and promote Ashley events including regional lectures, on-campus workshops and Alumni Homecoming.
