Job summary

Strive Recovery is seeking a Director of Alumni to build and lead our alumni program, ensuring former clients stay connected and supported in long-term sobriety. You will develop meaningful relationships, coordinate events, and collaborate with community partners to expand resources and programming.

The role emphasizes engaging, organized leadership, budget management, and travel for local alumni events and outreach, with occasional evenings and weekends based on programming needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a substance use disorder treatment or recovery center is required.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in recovery services, alumni programming, or related roles.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a program calendar and budget.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with clients before discharge and introduce them to the Strive Recovery alumni community.
• Maintain regular contact with alumni through structured check-ins and ongoing engagement.
• Serve as first point of contact for alumni needing support and connect to resources.
• Assist alumni with connecting to meetings, sober networks, and sponsors.
• Plan and lead alumni events and activities (coffee socials, dinners, milestones, wellness activities).
• Develop partnerships with community organizations to expand resources.
• Track alumni engagement and budget; maintain records and calendars.
• Travel locally for events, partnerships, and outreach.
