Job summary

Miami University seeks an Associate Director of Alumni Relations to develop and lead engagement strategies connecting students to alumni, volunteer leadership, career engagement, and philanthropy. You will collaborate with University Advancement and campus partners to advance institutional priorities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in alumni relations, student engagement, or nonprofit leadership. Occasional travel and weekend work may be expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, close attention to detail, strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work diplomatically with partners.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead student-to-alumni engagement strategies from orientation through the first decade after graduation.
• Design on-campus programs and collaborate with University Advancement and campus partners.
• Advise the Miami University Student Foundation and support alumni events and engagement initiatives.
