Job summary

The Development Program Manager at the University of Maryland partners with leadership to expand fundraising and engagement with alumni, donors, and stakeholders. They will lead stewardship and events, manage data and budgets, and support annual giving and campaigns.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role coordinates with university partners, alumni networks, and BCSE while ensuring programs run smoothly and strategically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of professional scholarship activities, gift administration, stewardship, or donor relations experience.
• Additional work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead stewardship efforts, including donor recognition and scholarship reports.
• Manage alumni and donor engagement events and outreach.
• Oversee data, budget, and scholarship administration in the MAPP development office.
• Serve as staff lead for the MAPP+D Alumni Network and assist Board committees.
