Job summary

University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a Development Program Manager to expand fundraising and engagement with alumni, donors, and partners. You will lead stewardship, donor recognition, and annual giving efforts while coordinating with central donor relations, the Alumni Association, and internal teams.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer in MAPP, you will manage the development office operations, supervise events, and support the Board of Visitors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) years of professional scholarship activities, gift administration, stewardship, or donor relations experience.
  • Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.

Responsibilities

  • Lead alumni and donor relations activities and events.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the MAPP development office.
  • Manage data, budget, scholarship administration, stewardship, annual giving, and engagement.
  • Serve as staff lead for the MAPP+D Alumni Network and secretary for the Board of Visitors.
