Job summary

The University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a Development Program Manager who will expand fundraising and engagement with alumni, parents, friends, faculty, industry partners and donors. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer in MAPP, you will manage projects, lead the alumni network, and drive donor relations and stewardship through events and communications.

You will collaborate with internal partners, oversee daily operations of the development office, and guide giving campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) years of professional scholarship activities, gift administration, stewardship, or donor relations experience.
  • Experience with donor contact management systems such as Blackbaud and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Staff lead for the MAPP+D Alumni Network and secretary for the Board of Visitors.
  • Plan and execute alumni and professional-related events and donor stewardship.
  • Lead Giving Day and annual giving efforts and collaborate with BCSE and ARCH communications.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the MAPP development office and manage data, budget, and scholarship administration.
