Job summary

Harvard Business School seeks an Assistant Director of Alumni Communities to lead engagement strategies and oversee a portfolio of alumni programs and events. You will work closely with volunteers and internal partners to deliver meaningful experiences that connect graduates with HBS resources and networks.

The role requires strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills, with a hybrid onsite pattern in Boston and limited travel.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required with 5–7 years in community engagement or related fields.
• Experience in program development, audience or relationship development, and marketing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy and independently manage development and execution of alumni programs and events.
• Coordinate communications with alumni volunteers, participants, and partners; manage content and logistics.
• Oversee budgets, staff oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to align with school priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with volunteers and committees; manage performance and development.
