Job summary

Harvard Business School in Boston, MA, seeks a Community Engagement Specialist to help grow the i-lab student community. You will act as a communications strategist, build engagement programs, coordinate channels, and support the day-to-day experience of 3000+ members.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Programming and Member Experience, you will plan events, recruit ambassadors, manage newsletters and cross-unit collaborations, and use data to inform program improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of experience in administrative support role(s) is required.
• Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the student i-lab community and its 3000+ active members, including application cycle promotion and weekly newsletters.
• Coordinate communications across channels and manage the editorial calendar for student communications.
• Plan events and lead outreach and programming with cross-team collaboration.
• Recruit, onboard, and support student ambassadors and student leaders.
• Monitor engagement, analyze feedback, and translate data into program improvements.
• Ensure collaboration across Harvard schools and external partners for programming.
