Job summary

Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, FL invites applications for an Alumni and Annual Giving Coordinator to lead multi-channel fundraising efforts and alumni engagement. You will develop campaigns, manage Giving Day, and collaborate across advancement teams to strengthen lifelong relationships with the College.

The ideal candidate has a degree and related experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for donor stewardship in higher education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; OR Associate’s degree and four years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications and annual giving, fundraising, and alumni relations strategies.
  • Ability to interact with diverse populations and communicate effectively in writing and speech.
  • Experience in higher education and donor management software is preferred; graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel between campus locations and occasional nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a comprehensive, multi-channel annual giving strategy including direct mail, digital, and crowdfunding campaigns.
  • Leads planning and execution of Giving Day, driving engagement across alumni and key audiences.
  • Manages campaign timelines, messaging, creative development, and segmentation to maximize participation and revenue.
  • Tracks performance metrics and produces reports, using data to refine strategy and improve results.
  • Creates training materials and supports campus partners and volunteers involved in annual giving efforts.
  • Designs and implements alumni engagement strategies, including volunteer programs, affinity groups, and storytelling initiatives.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with alumni, campus partners, and external vendors.
  • Supports stewardship of legacy donors and coordinates recognition efforts and signature events.
  • Maintains accurate records for planned giving donors and prospects.
  • Collaborates across advancement teams and stays current on industry trends to support college goals.

About this role

Responsible for coordinating annual giving programs and alumni relation strategies. Assists with the development and implementation of annual giving campaigns, communication and outreach efforts, and programs that strengthen lifelong relationships with the College. Coordinates alumni relation efforts that foster long-term engagement after graduation and inspire alumni to contribute.

What a day of an Alumni and Annual Giving Coordinator looks like:
