Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Welder to join our indoor, climate-controlled fabrication team. You will weld aluminum and some stainless steel, perform pipefitting and setup tasks, and report to the Welding Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality output.

Most welding is aluminum (90%), with some stainless steel (10%), and training on 1st shift precedes a 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am). The role includes rigorous quality checks, blueprints interpretation, and adherence to AWS symbols.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience for Level 1; 3+ years for Level 2; 5+ years for Level 3.
• Prior TIG aluminum welding experience.
• Ability to read welding blueprints and AWS symbols.
• Strong math and geometry skills, metric measurements.
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work at heights up to 30 ft, in confined spaces, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations per engineering specs and standards.
• Use semi-automatic and manual welding processes.
• Carry out fitting, cutting, grinding and finishing as required.
• Inspect welds for quality and defects.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and operate welding equipment.
• Follow safety policies and keep a clean, safe workspace.
