Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Welder to support fabrication and assembly of industrial equipment. You will weld aluminum (primarily) with some stainless steel, read blueprints, and ensure quality while working in a climate-controlled indoor facility.

Training on 1st shift precedes a transition to 2nd or 3rd shift, with a starting pay rate discussed by level. Roles include fitting, pipefitting, and setup tasks, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and top-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TIG aluminum welding and fabrication to ASME standards.
• Ability to read welding blueprints and AWS symbols.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and tolerances.
• Capable of working at heights and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations per engineering specs and quality requirements.
• Use semi-automatic and manual welding processes.
• Fit, cut, grind, and finish as needed.
• Inspect welds and identify defects.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment.
• Follow safety policies and keep the work area clean.
• Relocation support may be provided.
