Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Welder to support the fabrication and assembly of industrial equipment, focusing on aluminum welding in a climate-controlled indoor environment. Training on 1st shift precedes a transition to 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am).

The role emphasizes welding (about 40%), with fit-up, setup, and pipefitting constituting the rest of the work. The position offers pay levels from $25.00/hr to $31.00/hr plus a $2 shift differential and an annual production-based incentive.

Qualifications

• Level 1: 1+ years of experience
• Level 2: 3+ years of experience
• Level 3: 5+ years of experience
• Prior TIG aluminum welding experience
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications; AWS symbols familiarity
• Able to work in a climate-controlled indoor environment
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet and lift up to 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations according to specifications and standards
• Utilize semi-automatic and manual welding processes
• Perform fitting, cutting, grinding, and finishing
• Inspect welds for quality and defects
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean work area
• Relocation support may be provided
