Job summary

Atkore in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Welder for the 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) to weld aluminum cable trays. You will report to the Welding Supervisor and contribute to a lean manufacturing environment.

Requirements include 6+ months welding experience, ability to read a tape measure, and a High School Diploma or GED. Technical Welding Certificate preferred; willing to work OT and lift up to 50 lbs. Join a company that values integrity, respect, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6+ months welding experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Technical School Welding Certificate preferred.
• Ability to squat, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate welding machines.
• Interpret drawings and fabricate based on blueprints.
• Fabricate per customer specifications.
• Follow safety controls and PPE; participate in safety program.
