Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston is seeking an entry-level Transfer Agency Representative to assist senior staff with processing investor transactions including commitments, capital calls, distributions, transfers and redemptions.

You will support the Alternatives Transfer Agency team, ensuring deliverables are accurate and timely per prospectus and operating procedures, under supervision of the ALTS TA supervisor and team leader. A great opportunity to grow in a global financial services firm.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, secondary language capabilities a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organization skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Aptitude for numbers, accuracy and organization.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the team in establishing solid client contact through prompt follow-up.
• Interact and establish solid relationships within the transfer agency team.
• Process investor transactions such as the recording of commitments, capital calls, distributions, transfers and redemptions accurately.
• Deliver a high quality of services and deliverables on a timely manner.
• Comply with all the policies and procedures of the firm.
• Identify problems at an early stage and escalates as necessary.
• Assist team initiatives in respect of closing gaps and upgrading internal processes.
