Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to deliver a high-quality customer experience at the Alterations desk. The CSR welcomes customers, books appointments, and coordinates with the alterations team to ensure garments are prepared for pickup.

The role emphasizes friendly communication, problem-solving, and promoting alterations services. The position is part-time with weekend flexibility, competitive pay, and team bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
• Prior sewing experience is helpful
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, adapting style to suit customers by problem solving.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers, plus operational tasks and meeting emotional and practical needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and escalate issues to leadership when needed.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the dress for events and promote all alterations services.
• Assist with dress alterations and ensure a flawless shopping experience by keeping the area clean and organized.
