Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Asset Liability Treasury Manager to lead ALM modeling, risk management, and balance sheet optimization in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in Treasury or related banking, with strong analytical, communication, and regulatory skills. You will present to ALCO and collaborate across Treasury and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Minimum of 5+ years in Treasury or related areas within the banking industry.
• Direct knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the ALM model that supports NII and EVE sensitivity.
• Continuously monitor market conditions and identify trends impacting the bank’s interest-rate-risk profile and liquidity positions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management guidelines, including liquidity risk and interest rate risk.
• Develop and supplement current risk management practices to align with the bank's broader strategies.
• Prepare and present regular reports to Treasury Department senior management and ALCO, highlighting NII and EVE model results.
• Utilize advanced financial modeling to support balance sheet strategies.
• Assist with counterparties, brokers, and external investment managers to monitor hedging transactions.
• Perform scenario analysis and stress testing on the ALM Model.
• Work closely with Treasury Department senior leadership to align strategies with the bank's broader financial goals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
