Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Denver, CO is seeking an Asset Liability Treasury Manager to oversee ALM, interest-rate risk, and balance sheet strategy, reporting to the Assistant Treasurer.

You will lead modeling, scenario analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support risk-adjusted returns. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics and 5+ years in treasury or related banking analytics; ALM knowledge and communication skills are essential; certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in Treasury or related areas within banking/analytics.
• Direct knowledge of ALM strategies and processes.
• Certifications are preferred.
• Experience with ZMDesk or Moody’s OALM is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced data management and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance ALM model that supports NII and EVE sensitivity.
• Monitor market conditions and trends impacting IRR and liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines.
• Develop risk management practices aligned with bank strategies.
• Present NII and EVE model results to senior management.
• Utilize financial modeling to support balance sheet strategies.
• Support scenario analysis and stress testing on the ALM model.
• Collaborate with Treasury leadership to align strategies with financial goals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Assist in treasury policy development and procedures.
