Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking an energetic Asset Liability Treasury Manager in Denver, CO to lead ALM strategies and risk management for the balance sheet.

The role involves advanced modeling, scenario analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within Treasury and with other departments. You will oversee ALM development, monitor market conditions, ensure regulatory compliance, and report to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics, or related degree required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in Treasury or related areas within the banking industry, or quantitative analytics required.
• Direct knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) strategies and processes.
• Additional industry recognized certification(s) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced data management skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience with ZMDesk and Moody’s OALM model preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the ALM model supporting NII and EVE sensitivity.
• Monitor market conditions and trends affecting interest-rate risk and liquidity positions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management guidelines.
• Develop and supplement risk management practices aligned with strategic goals.
• Prepare and present reports on NII, EVE model results, and performance.
